Babaei said on Monday that Iran plans to issue all certificates of marriage in the country through an electronic system in the near future.
The official said there are certain advantages in digitizing marriage documents, including saving on paper usage, preventing forgery, easier authentication of certificates, instant access to marriage documents by interested parties and the online registration of the deeds by Iran's Civil Registration Organization.
